Calculator Pro: Hide Photos · Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Calculator Pro: Hide Photos (package
com.calculator.hide, "the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it.
The App is a working calculator that also acts as a private vault for photos and videos you choose to hide.
In short: your hidden photos, videos, PIN and intruder selfies stay on your device. We do not run servers that receive them, and we never sell your data. The only data that leaves your device is what Google AdMob collects to show ads.
1. Information stored only on your device
- Hidden photos and videos. Files you choose to hide are moved into the App's private storage on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere.
- Passcode and settings. Your vault PIN/passcode and App preferences (such as the selected launcher icon) are stored locally.
- Intruder selfies. If you enable this feature, the App uses the front camera to take a photo when someone enters a wrong passcode. These photos are stored only in the App's private storage and can be deleted by you at any time.
- Biometric unlock. If you use fingerprint or face unlock, authentication is handled by the Android system. The App never receives or stores your biometric data.
Cloud backup of App data is disabled, so hidden content is not copied to Google Drive backups. Important: if you uninstall the App or clear its data, hidden files are permanently deleted. Unhide anything you want to keep before uninstalling.
2. Permissions we request
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Photos and videos / Storage | To let you select media from your gallery to hide, and to restore it when you unhide it. |
| Camera | Only for the optional Intruder Selfie feature. |
| Biometric | Optional fingerprint/face unlock of the vault. |
| Internet | Only to load advertisements and the ad consent form. |
You can revoke any permission in your device settings; related features will stop working.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as:
- Advertising ID, device and operating system information, IP address
- App interactions with ads (impressions, clicks) and diagnostic data
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
This data is collected directly by Google under its own policies. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent. Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the App's settings. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your device's Google settings.
4. What we do not do
- We do not upload, view, or access your hidden photos, videos or intruder selfies.
- We do not require an account or collect your name, email or phone number.
- We do not sell your personal information.
5. Sharing
A hidden file leaves the App only if you choose to share it to another app using the share option. Apart from the advertising data described in section 3, we do not share information with third parties.
6. Data security
Hidden files are kept in the App's private storage, which other apps cannot access on a non-rooted device, and the vault is protected by your passcode. No method of storage is 100% secure, so please keep your passcode private and your device protected.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete it in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Because we do not hold copies, we cannot recover lost files or a forgotten passcode.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through ads, contact us and we will help address it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data. Because the App stores your content only on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the App. For ad-related data, use your device's ad settings or contact Google.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
